What DOES Makes Prescott Special?

Just an hour and a half’s drive north of Phoenix and a mile high, Prescott, Arizona offers fresh air, views, beautiful lakes, forest lands, and the small town feel you don’t find that much these days.

Great hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, offroad adventures, and other outdoor recreation opportunities are minutes away from wherever you stay when you’re in Prescott. Here’s some good info on hiking in the Prescott area.

Our beautiful, calm lakes offer water recreation such as fishing, kayaking and sailboating. Our local Prescott Paddling group will put you in touch with other local paddling enthusiasts.
